Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Casey Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Aloha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock comes into the arena with Eye of the Tiger blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock slaps away a takedown attempt from Aloha, before circling back to the center of the mat. Aloha avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Aloha looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Aloha shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Aloha pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rock is keeping the position for now. Rock pulls Aloha in close to prevent any damage. Rock looking to control.
Aloha wants to control from the top but Rock keeps moving. Aloha stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rock swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rock tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rock is working hard here to advance position. Rock is looking to stand up but Aloha isn't so interested in that idea.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rock is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Aloha looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rock is fending him off so far but Aloha persists. Nope, Rock circles away and we're back to standing. Casey Rock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Aloha. Aloha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rock swivels and escapes. Aloha stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Aloha wants it to stay on the feet. Aloha misses with a takedown and Rock counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rock with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Rock not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Aloha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Aloha looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rock works his way into side control. Rock is looking to take a break and control but Aloha is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rock has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aloha misses with a takedown attempt and Rock counters with a single leg into guard. Aloha didn't expect that. Aloha trying to keep a closed guard but Rock is proving a slippery customer.

Aloha with a lazy takedown attempt and Rock decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Aloha's guard. Aloha wants to stand and escape but Rock is having none of it. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rock keeping full guard, as Aloha tries to pass. Aloha working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Rock keeping moving, preventing Aloha from controlling successfully. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aloha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rock shoots for a double leg takedown but Aloha sprawls well. He's pushed Rock's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aloha has his takedown stuffed and Rock counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rock trying to control the position from guard on top but Aloha is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rock looking to sit in guard and control but Aloha gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Aloha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rock thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rock keeping moving, preventing Aloha from controlling successfully. Rock is adopting a defensive guard. Aloha trying to control but Rock is working from the bottom.

Aloha wants to free his trapped foot but Rock is holding on for dear life with his legs. Aloha wants to control but Rock is keeping him busy.

Rock tries to kick Aloha off but Aloha keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aloha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rock but Rock pushes him off and we're back to square one. Aloha fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Aloha takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rock is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rock scores a takedown into full mount! Aloha trying desperately to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rock with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Rock has control of Aloha's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Aloha regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Aloha wants to hold on but Rock pushes him away. Rock jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Aloha manages to avoid the submission attempt. Aloha is looking for a sweep.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rock. Rock tries to clinch up.

Rock gets control of Aloha's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rock will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Rock utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Aloha working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Casey Rock is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Aloha controlling from the top position. Rock bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Aloha's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Casey Rock showed his dominance in that final round. Well Rock has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
