Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard King will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Sims! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard King! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King fails in his attempt to clinch. King keeps the fight on the outside. Sims fails with a takedown attempt. Sims pushes King up against the cage in a clinch. King has Sims pressed against the cage.
Sims changes levels and goes for a takedown here. King fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Sims tries to clinch but King moves out of range. Sims circles away from the clinch attempt and Sims counters with a one-two to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sims is breathing heavily. King is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Sims will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round. King decides to stand back up. Sims tries to clinch but King moves out of range. King is looking to clinch but Sims is avoiding it.
A head kick misses from King. King fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sims sprawls well initially but King persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sims might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. King is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with King in particular looking to stall. King works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King lands with some strikes. King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. King controlling from mount. King putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sims is trying to escape the mount.
King looking to secure an arm triangle but Sims defends it well. King controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. King can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sims is looking to escape. King with the ground and pound from mount. King lands with some strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard King dominated that round. That's time! Sims's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sims looks for the body kick but King saw that one coming. Richard King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A kick lands to the mid section there for King. King with a lazy takedown attempt and Sims counters with a nice double leg into side control. King won't be happy with that. King sneaks back into half guard. King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sims is working away from the top position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fighters are battling for position here. King manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Sims trying to control but King is working from the bottom. Sims has gone for a leg lock! King slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sims's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sims is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well. King must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. King trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sims's guard. King is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Sims can't keep his opponent in guard - King advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. King is keen to just control but Sims is a slippery customer. King is figuring out what he wants to do next. Sims trying to control but King postures up.
King is looking to control the position but Sims frees his trapped leg and locks up an armbar from the bottom! It looks tight! King grimaces and holds on for a second but is forced to tap or have his arm broken! Slick Jiu Jitsu from Sims there - King really paying for some sloppy defensive work!
