Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pounding Ground!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Harold Sumrall!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Sumrall misses.
Sumrall shoots in but Ground avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ground with a poor takedown

and Sumrall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ground won't be happy with that.
Sumrall throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Ground is trying to control Sumrall's posture but Sumrall avoids it.
Sumrall creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Ground struggling a bit here.
Ground on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ground tries to get out of the position.
Sumrall throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Ground managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Sumrall.
Ground can't do much from the bottom here.
Sumrall throws an elbow but Ground slips to the side and avoids it well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Ground dodges the ground and pound from Sumrall.
Ground is trying to improve his position.

Sumrall throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Ground works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Sumrall is thwarting Ground's attempts to control the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ground tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Sumrall thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ground shoots and misses

and Sumrall counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ground!
The referee warns Ground that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sumrall breaks from Ground's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ground tries to reverse the position but Sumrall maintains control.
Sumrall avoids the attempt from Ground to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ground really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Ground is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sumrall looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Ground tries to reverse the position but Sumrall maintains control.
Sumrall lands a big elbow.
Sumrall scoring with strikes but Ground is staying in there.
Ground wants to control but Sumrall is having none of it.
Sumrall lands a big elbow.
Sumrall lands a heavy elbow.
Sumrall lands a nice shot to the head.
Sumrall with the ground and pound from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ground is rocked!
Ground is breathing heavily.
Sumrall wants to control but instead Ground manages to regain half guard.
Sumrall is nestled in close to Ground, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harold Sumrall dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Sumrall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sumrall cracks Ground with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ground tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sumrall pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ground is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harold Sumrall!
