Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Dunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dunn comes to the cage accompanied by Lose Yourself. Bryan Banks is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Banks! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dunn sprawls well initially but Banks persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Banks not landing any meaningful shots this time. Banks throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Banks sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dunn defending well though. Banks trying to mount his opponent but Dunn defends it. Dunn blocking the ground and pound attempt from Banks. That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Dunn throws a head kick but Banks moves out of range.
Banks keeps the fight on the outside. Banks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dunn pinned against the cage. Dunn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jim Dunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Banks. Dunn tries to clinch but Banks is having none of it. Banks thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dunn's head. Banks wants to work for an arm triangle but Dunn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Banks thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dunn to regain full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Banks dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dunn lands a head kick. Banks smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Dunn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Banks scores with a takedown into Dunn's guard. Banks throwing strikes from guard but Dunn blocks nicely. Banks throws and elbow that misses. Dunn uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Banks's guard. Nice move by Dunn! Banks working a defensive guard here.
Banks has control of Dunn's left arm, preventing Dunn from doing any damage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dunn wants to stand but Banks has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Dunn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Banks works over Dunn with some ground and pound from guard. Banks in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Banks pushes down on Dunn's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Banks not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banks sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dunn defending well though. Dunn tries to kick Banks off but Banks keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ground and pound from Banks. Banks thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Banks throwing shots but Dunn is blocking nicely. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Banks connects with a nice short shot to Dunn's temple. Banks moves into full mount! Dunn won't be happy about that! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Banks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Dunn is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Banks postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dunn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Banks, into his guard. Banks is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Banks trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Dunn stands up and waves to Banks to follow him.
