Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timmy Rowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rowe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fight Music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowe dives in and grabs Robertson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Robertson pushes down on Rowe's head and hops out.
Robertson rushes Rowe and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rowe is fighting off a takedown attempt but Robertson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rowe to the mat. Rowe regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Rowe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robertson swivels and escapes.

Rowe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Robertson tries to avoid it but Rowe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Robertson to the ground. Robertson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Robertson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rowe was covering up waiting for the punch and Robertson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Robertson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rowe on the ground.

Rowe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rowe has hold of Robertson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Robertson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Rowe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Robertson is looking to escape.
Rowe lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rowe postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Robertson looks a forlorn figure.

Rowe is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Robertson is surviving well by controlling Rowe's body position as best he can.
