Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dzikot Gitowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalolo Tupa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dzikot Gitowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kalolo Tupa! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tupa tries to clinch but Gitowski is having none of it. Tupa shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Tupa trying to control the action but Gitowski is working from the bottom. Tupa missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tupa keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Gitowski is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Well, if Tupa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Gitowski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tupa's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tupa's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupa looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Gitowski keeps control of the position easily here as Tupa tries to buck him off.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tupa wants to get up but he can't break Gitowski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Tupa lands a couple of decent looking shots. Tupa postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gitowski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tupa, into his guard. Tupa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Gitowski is looking to take a break and control but Tupa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gitowski working away. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gitowski working away. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tupa scores a takedown into full mount! Tupa lands a big shot there that rocks Gitowski but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Tupa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gitowski paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tupa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tupa stands up from half guard. Tupa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Tupa throws a right and a left that both miss. Tupa drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tupa with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tupa stays in close to Gitowski's body and controls the position. Tupa lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupa is stalling in the full guard. Gitowski keeping moving, preventing Tupa from controlling successfully. Gitowski trying to keep a closed guard but Tupa is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Tupa decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gitowski, up you get! Tupa feints and as Gitowski raises his hands in defense, Tupa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tupa wants to control from the top but Gitowski keeps moving. Tupa sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gitowski keeping moving, preventing Tupa from controlling successfully. Tupa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gitowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gitowski is trying to keep Tupa in close.

Despite being in the dominant position, Kalolo Tupa just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tupa fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gitowski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tupa.
Kalolo Tupa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tupa throws a head kick but Gitowski moves out of range.
Tupa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gitowski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tupa throws a shot from downtown. Gitowski moves away and avoids it. Tupa lands a really nice looking cross but Gitowski seems unphased.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kalolo Tupa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Tupa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gitowski avoids it really well and circles away. No luck for Tupa with that takedown attempt. Tupa shoots for a takedown but Gitowski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dzikot Gitowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalolo Tupa. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gitowski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tupa is looking for a sweep. Gitowski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tupa is staying active underneath Gitowski, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gitowski prevents Tupa from improving his position. Tupa is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kalolo Tupa has got the better of the ground game so far. Gitowski tries to pass to full mount but Tupa defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gitowski dodges the punch combination from Tupa.
Tupa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gitowski is trying to defend but Tupa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Gitowski slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Gitowski trying to keep a closed guard but Tupa is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tupa wants to hold on but Gitowski pushes him away. Tupa regains half guard. Dzikot Gitowski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tupa wants to control but Gitowski is keeping busy and won't allow it. Gitowski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tupa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gitowski is really struggling to control Tupa but he's trying to hold on to the position. Gitowski is looking to advance position but Tupa won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dzikot Gitowski. Well Tupa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
