Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Skillett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Seed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skillett's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The stroke - billy squire. Seed has chosen Enter the dragon as his entrance music. Cedric Seed is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Skillett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Cedric Seed! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seed throws a low kick but it's checked well by Skillett. Skillett tries to land a front kick but Seed steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Skillett throws a series of punches but Seed moves out of range. Seed is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Skillett. Seed lands with a thumping leg kick.
Seed tries to clinch up. Seed dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Skillett. That did some damage! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A solid leg kick lands there for Seed.
Skillett throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Skillett works over Seed's head and body with a nice combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Seed throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Skillett lands a left and a right that send Seed crashing to the mat, dazed. Skillett thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Seed is rocked! Seed shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Seed is still on wobbly legs! Can Skillett finish him? The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Skillett checks a leg kick. Seed seems to have recovered his senses. Seed throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Skillett. Skillett closes the distance and lands a one-two. Skillett falls off balance throwing a combination
and Seed counters with a thumping low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skillett throws a lazy head kick and Seed counters with a nice low kick that buckles Skillett's knee momentarily. A punch combination from Seed misses. Seed gets a clinch. Seed tries to break the clinch but Skillett is controlling the position. Seed gets control of Skillett's arms and successfully pulls guard. Seed will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Skillett would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Skillett decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Skillett falls off balance throwing a combination
and Seed counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seed trying to control the position from guard on top but Skillett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Seed stops Skillett from standing up. Seed tries to stand but Skillett is controlling from the bottom. Seed decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Skillett, up you get!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Skillett misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Seed.

Seed swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Skillett counters with a left and a right that stings Seed. Skillett misses with a body punch
and Seed counters with an outside leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Skillett crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Seed - the referee stops the clock and Skillett gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Seed. Skillett manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Skillett lands a nice looking body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Skillett dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Seed counters with a nice low kick that buckles Skillett's knee momentarily. Seed tries to clinch up. Skillett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Skillett throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Seed counters with a head kick. Seed turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Skillett misses with a combination
and Seed counters with a leg kick.

A head kick by Skillett misses and Seed counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Seed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Skillett's waist but Skillett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Seed off to one side. Skillett throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Seed counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Seed is looking to clinch. Skillett moves in looking to clinch but Seed pushes him off. Skillett misses with a double jab
and Seed counters with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seed shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Skillett defends it nicely. Skillett misses with a few strikes there.
Seed uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Skillett. Seed slips under a jab. Seed throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Skillett. Seed looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seed prevents Skillett from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Seed looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Skillett manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Skillett misses with a few strikes there.
Skillett throws a head kick that misses and Seed counters with a nice low kick that buckles Skillett's knee momentarily. Seed swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Skillett counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Seed misses with a double jab
letting Skillett counter with a right hand. Skillett fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Seed avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cedric Seed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Skillett's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Skillett pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Skillett tries to keep at a distance but Seed has taken the fight into the clinch. Seed gets underhooks to prevent Skillett's takedown attempt.

and Seed counters with a big head kick but Skillett shrugs it off. Sam Skillett is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Skillett blocks a head kick by Seed.
Seed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Skillett throws a lazy body kick and Seed makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Seed. A nice combination there by Skillett.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Seed - that will leave a mark!

The fight stays on the outside here - Seed looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Skillett throws a left and a right that both miss
and Seed counters with a body kick. Seed gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Skillett counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Seed fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Skillett. Seed connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Skillett throws a combination that misses and Seed counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Skillett takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Skillett is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Skillett swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Skillett lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Skillett steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Seed. That one must have hurt. Seed has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seed dodges the punch combination from Skillett.
Skillett misses with a combination
and Seed makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Skillett really felt that one! Skillett takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Seed tries a head kick but it misses.
Seed shoots in for a double leg but Skillett sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sam Skillett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cedric Seed. Skillett swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Seed counters with a flying knee. Nice.
And that's the end of the fight! Cedric Seed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Seed has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
