Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Chinaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hydraulix 13.5 - D.A.V.E. the Drummer & Alex Calver. Aaron Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henry Chinaski! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chinaski misses with a low kick.
Chinaski is looking to slow Gracie down with leg kicks. Gracie lands a jab-cross combination. Gracie jabs at Chinaski's body. Chinaski throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Chinaski goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Aaron Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A solid leg kick lands there for Chinaski.
Chinaski takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Chinaski is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gracie. Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gracie pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chinaski defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gracie. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Poor strikes thrown by Gracie there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie looking to secure an arm triangle but Chinaski defends it well. Gracie looking to ground and pound but Chinaski is blocking nicely. Gracie wants to control the pace but Chinaski is squirming around nicely. Gracie is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Chinaski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chinaski shrugs it off. Chinaski tries to hold on but Gracie postures up. Chinaski blocking the ground and pound. Chinaski is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chinaski is bucking up trying to escape but Gracie cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Chinaski is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Chinaski is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position! Gracie keeping moving, preventing Chinaski from controlling successfully. Chinaski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chinaski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Gracie is trying to keep Chinaski in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is trying to control the position but Chinaski postures up. Chinaski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chinaski. Chinaski defending well as Gracie loads up on a big left hand. Gracie shoots for a takedown but Chinaski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there. Gracie not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gracie looks to land a strike but Chinaski avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Gracie throwing strikes but missing. Gracie working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Chinaski preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chinaski is keeping the position for now. Chinaski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.

Aaron Gracie dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Chinaski. Gracie shrugs it off though. Chinaski keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie. Chinaski throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. Chinaski scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Aaron Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie thows a left - swing and a miss! Gracie misses with a body shot.

Gracie fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chinaski. Chinaski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Chinaski. Chinaski closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Gracie slips a straight right by Chinaski. Chinaski does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chinaski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinaski lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts. Chinaski fakes the leg kick and cracks Gracie in the body. Chinaski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gracie.
No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt. Gracie fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gracie takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Chinaski plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Gracie moves into range and connects with a jab. Chinaski fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gracie. Chinaski misses with a hook. Gracie ducked under it nicely. Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chinaski defends it nicely. Chinaski lands a high kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Chinaski counters with a leg kick. Chinaski buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Chinaski keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie. Chinaski feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down. Chinaski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chinaski paws at him with a jab and circles away. Chinaski throws out a powerful jab. Chinaski slips under a jab from Gracie. Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Chinaski punishes Gracie's body with a nice straight punch. A nice inside leg kick there by Chinaski. That's going to slow Gracie down. Chinaski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gracie is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie cracks Chinaski with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Gracie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Chinaski lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Chinaski throws a wild body kick that Gracie sees coming a mile off. Chinaski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Gracie misses with a looping right. Gracie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chinaski can pounce on him.
Gracie takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chinaski connects with a high kick. Chinaski throws a head kick that half lands.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chinaski is looking to slow Gracie down with leg kicks. Gracie takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Chinaski lands with a kick to the temple. Gracie shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Chinaski with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Chinaski shows good takedown defense. Gracie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Chinaski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gracie is trying to ground and pound but Chinaski uses the momentary lack of control by Gracie to regain half guard. Gracie trying to control but Chinaski is working from the bottom. Chinaski pulls Gracie in to control the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Chinaski has wrist control. Chinaski looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gracie has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gracie there as he acknowledges the shot. Chinaski chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gracie throws a hook but Chinaski avoids it easily. Gracie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Chinaski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chinaski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gracie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chinaski. Gracie gets a takedown into half guard. Chinaski looks like he's trying to stand up.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aaron Gracie. I think Gracie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
