Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerentus tries to close the distance and clinch up but Belfonte swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Belfonte slips a jab and a cross from Cerentus.
Cerentus misses with a few strikes there.
Belfonte throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cerentus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Belfonte shoots for a takedown but Cerentus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Belfonte closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Belfonte lands in his opponent's guard.
Belfonte throwing strikes from guard but Cerentus blocks nicely.
Cerentus keeping moving, preventing Belfonte from controlling successfully.
Cerentus wants to stand and escape but Belfonte is having none of it.
Cerentus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cerentus tries to get out of the position.
Belfonte forces his way into half guard.
Cerentus pushes Belfonte off looking to stand but Belfonte dives back in and keeps control.
Nice strikes from Belfonte there.
Cerentus is trying to stand.

Belfonte drops an elbow to the side of Cerentus's head.
Belfonte is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Cerentus is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Belfonte scores with a couple of nice shots.
Belfonte seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Belfonte lands a nice short elbow.

Belfonte lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Cerentus is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Belfonte takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Belfonte looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Cerentus covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
