Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fig Hter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Volkovzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkovzky's corner calls for a 1-2. Volkovzky obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Volkovzky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Volkovzky is desperately trying to improve his position but Hter has a good base and remains in mount.
BOOM! Hter connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Volkovzky is in a horrible position here. Hter smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Hter misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Hter postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Volkovzky looks a forlorn figure.
Hter has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Volkovzky's face.

Volkovzky had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hter is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Volkovzky Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hter's back instead.
Volkovzky keeps control of the position as Hter tries to break free.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Hter won't enjoy being in this position. Volkovzky looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Hter is tapping - it's over boys! Volkovzky picks up the submission victory!
