Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akitoshi Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Akitoshi Aoki enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans throws a low kick, looking for Aoki's leg but Aoki calmly moves out of range.
Aoki looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Evans throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aoki.
Evans throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Evans motions for Aoki to come forward. Evans throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Evans scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Evans tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aoki swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Aoki avoids a punch combination nicely.
Evans scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Evans throws a left that rocks Aoki and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Evans dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Aoki regain composure!
Evans knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aoki on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Aoki is looking to regain half guard here but Evans keeps moving and retains side control.
Evans wants to stand but Aoki has his arm trapped.

Aoki manages to get back to half guard.
Aoki looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Evans throws a leg kick that misses.

Evans rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Aoki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Aoki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Evans is fending him off so far but Aoki persists. Nope, Evans circles away and we're back to standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Evans throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aoki.
The fight stays on the outside here - Evans looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Aoki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Evans but Evans pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Patrick Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akitoshi Aoki.

Aoki is trying desperately to land a takedown but Evans is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Aoki.

Evans wants to stand but Aoki is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aoki prevents Evans from getting back to his feet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Aoki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Evans as he jumps to the side.
Evans throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A big left from Evans misses.
Evans lands a jab to the head.
Aoki moves out of range of the body kick.
Evans throws a right and a left that Aoki avoids nicely.
Aoki on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Aoki slips a jab and a cross from Evans.
Evans fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice uppercut there from Evans.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Evans lands with a right that hurts Aoki. Aoki looks to clinch but Evans throws a short knee that drops Aoki. This one is all over!
