The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Streak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leiberwitz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sam Streak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leiberwitz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Leiberwitz is trying to ground and pound but Streak uses the momentary lack of control by Leiberwitz to regain half guard.
Leiberwitz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Leiberwitz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Streak knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Leiberwitz wants to control but Streak is keeping him busy.

Streak is in a horrible position here. Leiberwitz smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leiberwitz pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Leiberwitz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Streak is looking to escape.
Leiberwitz lands a big elbow.
Leiberwitz looking to finish Streak with some ground and pound. This is bad for Streak!
Leiberwitz is landing with some decent strikes but Streak is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Streak looks gassed!
Leiberwitz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Streak can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Leiberwitz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Streak looks a forlorn figure.
Streak is rocked!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Leiberwitz! Streak is hurt baaadly! Leiberwitz is firing away with more strikes - Streak is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
