Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georg St Piere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout comes to the cage accompanied by Stranglehold. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sammy Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georg St Piere!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stout has Piere up against the cage in a clinch.

Piere has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stout clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Piere gets his hands free as Stout looks to control.
Piere is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
I looks like Piere might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Stout is trying to get back to his feet but Piere has full control of the position and if anything, Stout has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stout trying to control the hands but Piere breaks the grip.
Stout really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Piere doesn't have the hooks in and Stout manages to turn into his guard.

Piere has his feet on Stout's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Stout shoots in for a takedown but Piere shows good takedown defense.

and Stout counters with a nice double leg into side control. Piere won't be happy with that.
Piere parries the strikes from Stout easily there. Stout is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Piere to escape.

Stout misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Stout is trying to escape the position but Piere is controlling the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stout tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Stout is looking for a sweep.

Stout is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Piere off and has taken his back!

Stout has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Piere trying to control the position from guard on top but Stout is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Stout working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Piere doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Piere manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Piere seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Stout looking to hit a scissor sweep but Piere is one step ahead there.
Piere wants to pass the guard but Stout is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Piere counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stout won't be happy with that.

Georg St Piere showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Piere closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stout circles away.

Stout moves into range and clinches up with Piere.

Piere turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Piere manages to end up in side control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Piere stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stout swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stout is trying to improve his position.
Piere wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stout keeps working.
Stout can't do much from the bottom here.
Stout throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.

Stout is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Piere has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Piere is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stout will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Stout wants to control but Piere postures up.

Piere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stout. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Piere shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stout defends it nicely.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stout's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Sammy Stout has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Georg St Piere is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Stout drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Piere dives on top into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Georg St Piere.
I've got Piere winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
