Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Josh Glick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Christy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glick comes to the cage accompanied by Down to the fall of us. Owen Christy struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Glick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Owen Christy! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Glick as he jumps to the side. Glick fails with the takedown and Glick takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Glick is trying hard to land a takedown here. Christy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Glick scores a takedown into full mount! Glick is breathing heavily. Christy working to try and regain half guard.
Glick controlling the pace for now. Christy tries to hold on but Glick postures up. Glick dominating with strikes here. Christy flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Josh Glick just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Glick shoots and misses and Christy counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Christy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glick utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Christy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
