Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazuki Yamanashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Saburo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Saburo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuki Yamanashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Saburo!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saburo shoots in but no luck this time.
Saburo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Yamanashi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Saburo did well to prevent Yamanashi getting side control.
Yamanashi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Yamanashi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Yamanashi lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yamanashi postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Saburo to stand up.
Yamanashi moves in looking to clinch but Saburo pushes him off.

Yamanashi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Yamanashi gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Saburo regains guard.

Yamanashi is trying to trip Saburo. He has hold of a leg but Saburo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Yamanashi persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Saburo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Yamanashi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Yamanashi manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Yamanashi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Saburo is trying to get back to half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!



Saburo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Yamanashi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yamanashi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Saburo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Yamanashi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kazuki Yamanashi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Yamanashi seems to be working for a kimura but Saburo defends the submission attempt.
Yamanashi is nestled in close to Saburo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Yamanashi is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Saburo wants to improve his position but Yamanashi is controlling well.
Saburo has hold of Yamanashi's hands but Yamanashi slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Saburo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yamanashi is working away from the top position though.
Yamanashi winds up and cracks Saburo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yamanashi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Saburo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Adam Saburo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kazuki Yamanashi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Yamanashi blocks the strikes from Saburo.

Kazuki Yamanashi showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Yamanashi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
