Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mayweather lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Silva showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mayweather.
Mayweather misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mayweather's waist but Mayweather gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Mayweather scores with a punch to the head.
Mayweather uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Mayweather throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.
Mayweather comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Floyd Mayweather has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramon Silva.
Silva fails to land the takedown.
Silva looks gassed!
Nice takedown defense from Mayweather. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Mayweather throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mayweather!
Silva is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mayweather lands a left and a right that send Silva crashing to the mat, dazed. Mayweather thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Silva is still on wobbly legs! Can Mayweather finish him?
Mayweather lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Silva falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mayweather dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Floyd Mayweather!
