Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keke Rosberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keke Rosberg will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rashad King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keke Rosberg!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
King is pressing down on Rosberg's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rosberg is holding on for now.
Rosberg is trying to get back to full guard.
Rosberg is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King looks to land a strike but Rosberg avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
King might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rosberg looking for a sweep. Not yet Rosberg, not yet.

Rosberg looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rosberg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. King manages to get himself to full guard.
Rosberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard.
King keeping moving, preventing Rosberg from controlling successfully.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

King wants to stand but Rosberg is controlling the position.
King is breathing heavily.
Rosberg wants to pass the guard but King is keeping the position.
Rosberg pushes down on King's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Rosberg is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rosberg is keen to just control but King is a slippery customer.

Rosberg is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rosberg checks a low kick from King.
King stalks Rosberg and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rosberg's face. Rosberg staggers backwards, shaken.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
King fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Rosberg feints and as King raises his hands in defense, Rosberg changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rosberg wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

King kicks Rosberg off and gets to his feet.
Rosberg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and King counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rosberg!
Rosberg is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rosberg sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
King wants to stand but Rosberg has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rosberg gets back to full guard.
Rosberg controls King momentarily but King frees himself.
King preventing the sweep.

Rosberg had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. King is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rosberg Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take King's back instead.
Rosberg lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Rosberg.

King is having to fend off submission attempts from Rosberg, who is looking to sink in the choke. Rosberg doesn't have the hooks in though and King manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Rosberg is working an open guard so King takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
King fails to land with a series of punches.

Rosberg tries to clinch but King is having none of it.
King throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
King throws a series of punches but Rosberg avoids them all with ease.
Rosberg shoots in for a double leg but King sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
King lands with an overhand left.
A combination from King does no damage.

King tries to keep at a distance but Rosberg has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rosberg decides to pull guard.
Rosberg wants to hit a switch here but King passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rosberg there!
Rosberg regains half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rosberg is trying to maintain the position but King is very close to passing his half guard.
Rosberg is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rashad King will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


King throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rashad King is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rosberg looks for a takedown but King sprawls well.
King closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rosberg circles away.
King throws a lazy right hand but Rosberg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rosberg closes this distance looking for a takedown but King circles away.

Rosberg is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
King misses with a takedown

and Rosberg counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Keke Rosberg has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rosberg passes the guard and advances to mount!

Rosberg is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rosberg tries for a takedown but King sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rashad King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keke Rosberg.

King changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rosberg looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rosberg gets back to half guard.
Rosberg is trying to control but can't.

King tries to lock up and control but Rosberg gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

King is refusing to be controlled, as Rosberg sits in half guard.
King works his way to full guard. Good work.
Rosberg is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
King thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
King is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rosberg wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

King is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Rosberg has managed to free his arm - good work.

Rosberg manages to escape and get back to his feet!
King misses with a wild combination.
King thows a body shot but no joy.
King falls off balance throwing a combination

and Rosberg counters with a big takedown. That's hurt King! Rosberg smells blood and goes in for the kill. Serveral hard shots later and the ref calls an end to the fight by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Keke Rosberg!
