Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ven Supa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janick Ironcrotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janick Ironcrotch has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ven Supa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ven Supa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Janick Ironcrotch! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Supa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ironcrotch swats him away and circles back towards the center. Supa tries to clinch there but Ironcrotch circles away.
Ironcrotch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Supa tries to clinch but Ironcrotch is having none of it. A combination from Supa does no damage. Ironcrotch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A leg kick checked by Ironcrotch. Supa doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ironcrotch counters with a nice double leg into side control. Supa won't be happy with that. Ironcrotch is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Supa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Supa stops Ironcrotch from passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Supa is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ironcrotch tries for a kimura but Supa is defending well. Ironcrotch is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Supa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Supa takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Supa taking a bit of punishment here - Ironcrotch scoring with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ironcrotch tries to move to full mount but Supa actually manages to regain half guard. Ironcrotch trying to control from Supa's half guard. Supa has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Supa is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Ironcrotch prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ironcrotch has Supa pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ironcrotch pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Supa tumbling to the mat - Ironcrotch dives into Supa's guard. Ironcrotch drops back, looking for a kneebar! Supa looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Supa looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Supa! Supa is working Ironcrotch over with some ground and pound from side control. Supa decides to take the fight back to the feet. Supa looks to clinch and Ironcrotch moves into the clinch. Ironcrotch tries to pull guard but Supa won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ironcrotch is working for takedown but Supa is calmly controlling the position for now. Ven Supa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janick Ironcrotch. Supa is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ironcrotch is defending well for now. Supa is trying to maintain a safe position but Ironcrotch gets an underhook and turns Supa into the cage. Supa misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ironcrotch.
Supa turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Supa misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Ironcrotch defending against the ground and pound. Supa tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Supa stands up and we're back to a striking position. Some wild striking there from Supa.
Supa displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ironcrotch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Janick Ironcrotch will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Supa clinches but Ironcrotch breaks the clinch and Ironcrotch counters with a takedown into side control. Supa is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Ironcrotch trying to control the position but Supa is working away. Ironcrotch wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Supa, who protects the arm well. Supa pushes Ironcrotch away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Ironcrotch gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Ironcrotch looking to control but instead Supa has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Supa is trying to stand up here but Ironcrotch is controlling him well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Janick Ironcrotch has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Supa tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Ironcrotch counters by clinching up. Ironcrotch wants a takedown but no success here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ironcrotch has Supa pressed against the cage, preventing Supa from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ironcrotch blocks an elbow strike. Supa is trying to stall.
Supa tries for a takedown but Ironcrotch manages to get underhooks.
Ironcrotch gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Supa regains guard.
Ironcrotch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Supa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ironcrotch throwing strikes from guard but Supa blocks nicely. Supa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ironcrotch throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Supa's body to avoid the submission. Supa has instead reached around Ironcrotch's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Supa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
