The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waul misses with a double jab.
Waul stuns Smalls with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Smalls misses with a body punch

and Waul counters with a crisp one two that drops Smalls! Waul thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Smalls to his feet! Smalls is in big trouble!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smalls takes a swing at Waul's ribcage but misses.
Smalls throws a series of punches but Waul moves out of range.
Smalls throws a jab when Waul was well out of range.
Waul lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Smalls at a distance.
Smalls is breathing heavily.
Smalls ducks under a wild hook from Waul.
Waul ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smalls moves away.
Waul throws a combination that misses
and Smalls counters with a straight right hand.
Waul fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smalls manages to avoid it.
A jab from Waul misses.
Smalls lands an overhand right.
Waul throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Smalls swings away with a body shot that misses
and Waul counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Biggie Smalls has been cut.

Waul sends Smalls crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Waul is motioning to the referee to let Smalls up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Waul cracks Smalls with a left hook right on the temple and Smalls goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Waul lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Smalls is OK!
