Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hulio Hinlares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert E Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen American Trilogy as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hulio Hinlares!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert E Lee!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Hinlares or perhaps it was just good defense by Lee which made him look bad.
Hinlares circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Lee as Hinlares shoots in.
Hinlares tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lee makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Lee tries to clinch but Hinlares moves away

and Hinlares counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hinlares.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee wants to stand but Hinlares is controlling the position.
Hinlares trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Hinlares stopping the sweep attempt from Lee.
Lee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lee is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hinlares is trying to get back to full guard.
Hinlares moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hinlares utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hinlares had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lee defends it easily.

Lee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hinlares is breathing heavily.
Hinlares keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.

Hinlares looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hinlares is proving hard to escape from.
Lee landing some decent shots from guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lee preventing the sweep.
Lee sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hinlares's guard.
Lee is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Lee prevents Hinlares from getting the reversal.
Lee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hinlares is looking to escape.
Lee is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Lee connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Lee fails to advance to Hinlares's back.

Lee is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Lee looks to land a body kick but Hinlares moved away.
Lee stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulio Hinlares. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee wants to clinch

and Hinlares counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hinlares.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee has Hinlares pulled in close to control his posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hulio Hinlares will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lee creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Lee lands a damaging elbow.
Lee comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Hinlares blocks an elbow strike.
Lee misses with a knee to the head.
Lee lands an elbow just above Hinlares 's eye.
Lee creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Hinlares's defenses.
Lee lands a good knee to the midsection. Hinlares won't want to take too many of those.

Lee jumps into guard, dragging Hinlares to the mat.

Hinlares is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!

Hinlares is looking for a triangle here but Lee uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Lee stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Hinlares misses with a double jab

and Lee moves into the clinch.
Lee pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Lee looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Lee throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hinlares blocks it with crossed arms.
Hinlares on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hinlares avoids a wild elbow strike from Lee.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lee just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hinlares's brow.
Lee lands an elbow that stopped Hinlares in his tracks for a moment.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Lee lands a nice knee to the body.
Nice elbow from Lee.

Lee manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Hinlares wants to stand and escape but instead Lee has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Lee wants to stand but Hinlares has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Lee stands up over Hinlares, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Hinlares is looking to get back to full guard here but Lee has managed to pass to side control instead.

Lee gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Lee tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Hinlares counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lee!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hinlares moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Lee has worked his arm free - good work by Lee!

Robert E Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hinlares swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Hinlares pushes him off.

and Lee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Hinlares avoids the elbow strike from Lee, against the cage.

Hinlares wants to break the clinch but can't.

Lee jumps guard and drags Hinlares to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet.

Hinlares drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lee dives on top into guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hinlares bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.
Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hinlares is controlling him.

Hinlares drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee!

Lee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hinlares, who protects the arm well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lee decides to stand back up. Lee steps back and let's Hinlares get back to his feet.
Lee wants to clinch up but Hinlares keeps it at a distance.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Hinlares pushes him off.
Hinlares shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lee as he jumps to the side.
Lee fakes the leg kick and cracks Hinlares in the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee wants to clinch.

Hinlares shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hinlares was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lee wants to hold on but Hinlares pushes him away.

Hinlares goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lee is on top in guard.

Hinlares is working an open guard so Lee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee wants to clinch up but Hinlares keeps it at a distance.
Lee looks to clinch

and Hinlares counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lee won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee struggling a bit here.

Hinlares is trying to get an arm triangle but Lee is defending well.
Lee sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Lee moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Robert E Lee.
I think Lee has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
