Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John McClaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Kazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John McClaine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sho Kazuki!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClaine takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McClaine slips under a jab.
McClaine shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kazuki looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Kazuki wants to get back to full guard.
McClaine is thwarting Kazuki's attempts to control the position.
Kazuki works his way to full guard. Good work.
McClaine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McClaine accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
McClaine is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kazuki has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. McClaine is looking to defend but Kazuki has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for McClaine! Kazuki pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, McClaine taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sho Kazuki!
