Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benito Camelas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Camelas has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Benito Camelas has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Benito Camelas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Banks! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Camelas looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Camelas takes one to the side of the head.
Nice sprawl there from Banks as Camelas shoots in. Banks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Banks explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Banks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Camelas did well to prevent Banks getting side control. Banks working over Camelas with some ground and pound. Camelas looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Camelas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Banks lands strikes from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Banks looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Banks seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Banks tries to pass to full mount but Camelas defends it. Banks slips a nice elbow through Camelas's hands, connecting with Camelas's forehead. Camelas is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Banks scores with a couple of nice shots.

Banks lands strikes from half guard. Banks working over Camelas with some ground and pound. Camelas looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Banks winds up and cracks Camelas with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Banks is pressing down on Camelas's thigh, looking to free his foot. Camelas is holding on for now.

Banks passes to full mount! A nice elbow there by Banks. Banks lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Camelas is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks with a couple of short strikes. Camelas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Banks on the ground. Banks breaks from Camelas's wrist control and lands an elbow. Camelas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Camelas tries to reverse the position but Banks maintains control. Banks looking to control and managing it successfully. Banks lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
BOOM! Banks connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Camelas is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Banks in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Camelas wants to hold on but Banks pushes him away. Banks working Camelas over with strikes here. Banks landing strikes from the mount. BOOM! Banks connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Banks unloading with bombs! Banks controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A nice elbow there by Banks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Camelas takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Banks turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Banks!

Banks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Camelas closes the distance but Banks moves to the side and Banks counters with a shoot takedown. Camelas fights it but they end up in guard. Banks chips away with some ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Banks connects with a couple of short punches. Banks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Banks trying to control but Camelas is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Banks is in close to Camelas's body, working some short punches and elbows. Banks chips away with some ground and pound. Banks forces his way into half guard. Camelas has one foot on Banks's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Benito Camelas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Camelas tries to clinch but fails miserably and Banks counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Banks breaks the clinch.

Camelas is staying active underneath Banks, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Banks seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Banks thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Camelas's head. Banks scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Banks sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Camelas defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Camelas trying to hold on to Banks's head to control him but Banks postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Banks throws a head kick but Camelas moves out of range.
Banks rushes Camelas and presses him up against the cage. Camelas pulls Banks into guard.
Camelas is trying to hold Banks in close to prevent damage but Banks has managed to pass into half guard.
Camelas throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Banks wants to advance to full mount but Camelas doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Banks controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Camelas is trying to control the position but Banks postures up. Banks postures up and lands a big shot to Camelas's brow. Banks postures up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Banks's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Camelas is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Camelas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Banks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Camelas gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Banks connects with a solid leg kick. Banks uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Camelas has time to react. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Banks, right into the meat.
Banks lands a head kick. Camelas smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Banks closes the distance and lands a one-two. Banks scores with a one two! Camelas had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Camelas throws a push kick but Banks slaps the foot to one side. Banks turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Banks lands a jab to the nose. Banks is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. A nice inside leg kick there by Banks. That's going to slow Camelas down. Banks cracks the inside of Camelas's front leg. A nice combination there by Banks.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Banks bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Camelas regains half guard. Dave Banks has got the better of the ground game so far. Banks looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Camelas is looking for a sweep. Banks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that's the end of the fight! Dave Banks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Banks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
