Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, anthony kollo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for kollo. That snapped Wilks's head back.
Wilks fails with a takedown attempt.

and Wilks counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wilks.
Wilks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wilks throws the kick towards the body but kollo avoids it.
kollo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wilks can pounce on him.

Wilks has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics kollo uses from the top position.

kollo drops back looking for a leg! Wilks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wilks manages to kick kollo off! kollo jumps back into Wilks's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and kollo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wilks won't be happy with that.
anthony kollo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Wilks.

Wilks is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but kollo is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Wilks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with kollo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
BOOM! kollo connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Wilks is trying desperately to improve position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wilks looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Wilks covers up after that shot from kollo.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
kollo is really struggling to control Wilks but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

kollo keeps control of the position easily here as Wilks tries to buck him off.

kollo is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. kollo gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. kollo gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. kollo apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and Wilks counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
kollo throws a head kick that misses.
Wilks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wilks closes the distance and clinches up with kollo, looking for a takedown. Wilks pushes kollo against the cage but kollo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Wilks checks a low kick from kollo.
kollo tries to clinch but Wilks is having none of it.
Wilks tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
kollo tries to clinch but Wilks moves out of range.
kollo has closed the distance and engaged Wilks in a clinch.
Wilks is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. kollo can't fight it off and eventually Wilks manages to take the fight to the floor. kollo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
kollo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wilks wants to pass the guard but kollo is keeping the position.

kollo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Wilks rolls with it to try and escape but kollo cranks on the arm and Wilks is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
