Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Night! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Prolly Rain! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Night throws a nice looking combination but Rain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Night looks to land a left hand but Rain moved out of range nicely. A swing and a miss from Night. Night throws a hook to the side of Rain's head but Rain sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Rain drives through with a takedown into guard. Rain trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rain postures up in Night's guard and throws a big left but Night blocks it. Rain wants to control from the top but Night keeps moving. Rain seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rain throws a big right hand that misses. Rain trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Night manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Night is aware though and is defending well. Night got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Night has managed to get both his arms back between Rain's legs - danger averted. Rain thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rain is looking for a triangle but Night pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Night wants to stand but Rain is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rain avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Night sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Night is aware though and is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prolly Rain dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Rain slips under a jab. A jab from Night misses. The fighters circling - Night throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A combination from Night does no damage. Rain misses with a takedown attempt - Night sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A big left from Night misses. Night misses with a few strikes there.
Night is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rain. Night lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rain circles away quickly and effectively. Night just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rain shoots in but Night avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rain feints and as Night raises his hands in defense, Rain changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rain scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Rain with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain looking to pass the guard. Rain chips away with some ground and pound. Night working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rain. He's simply no match for Rain on the ground. Night looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rain wants to pass the guard but Night is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Rain fails with a takedown attempt. Jack Night has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Prolly Rain. Night lands with a straight right. Rain didn't see that one coming. Rain avoids a punch combination nicely.
Night thows a body shot but no joy. Night misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Night throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rain uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Night. Night misses with the combination.
Jack Night is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Night looks to land a right hand but Rain moved out of range. Night is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Rain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Night throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rain slips a jab from Night. Night bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Rain ducks under a wild hook from Night. Rain shoots in looking for a takedown. Night tries to sprawl out of it but Rain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Night manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jack Night seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rain slips a jab from Night.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Night connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Night throws a shot from downtown. Rain moves away and avoids it. Night throws a jab but it's blocked by Rain. Rain avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rain misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jack Night is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Night, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Night will probably get the nod. That's time! Night's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Rain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Rain throwing shots but Night is blocking nicely. Rain trying to control the action but Night is working from the bottom. Rain takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Night is staying active underneath Rain, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Night's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain drops an elbow to the side of Night's head. Rain thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Night to regain full guard. Rain slips nicely into half guard. Rain working the head and body with strikes. Rain thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rain thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Night's head. Rain moves into full mount! Night won't be happy about that! Night avoids a series of strikes thrown by Rain.
