Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Hay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hong Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dirk Hay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hong Lee! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hay misses with a few strikes there.
A cross from Lee lands. Lee fails with a takedown attempt. Lee drops his hands momentarily and Hay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Hay takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hay closes the distance and clinches. Lee displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hay up against the cage. Lee wants a takedown.
Hay is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Lee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dirk Hay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hong Lee. Hay tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lee lands with a light punch inside. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lee just misses with a elbow thrown towards Hay's brow. Hay stalling in the clinch but Lee improves position. Hay is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Good body shot from Hay.
Nice body punch from Hay - that landed with a thud.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee wants to stall.
Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hay misses with a few strikes there.
Hay tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it. Hay has managed to clinch.
Hay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hay tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance. Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hay's waist but Hay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Hay throws a lazy head kick and Lee counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hay is breathing heavily. Hay is trying to stand back up but Lee is controlling him
Lee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hay is just riding it out for now. Lee eventually gives up the hold.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hay is not content to let Lee control the position. Lee sitting and controlling from the half guard. Lee wants to control but Hay is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hay's head.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hay misses with a kick to the body.
Hay fails in his attempt to clinch. Hay wants to clinch up but Lee keeps it at a distance. Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hay tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hay to the ground. Hay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hay throws a sloppy head kick and Lee counters with a three punch combo that has Hay backing up. Hay nods at Lee to acknowledge the strikes. Lee walks into a jab. Lee closes the distance and clinches. Lee tries to pull guard but Hay holds him up against the cage and eventually Lee drops back down to his feet.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Hay. Lee fails to land the takedown. Hay throws a sloppy head kick and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lee on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hay tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee has a takedown stuffed. Hay throws a combination. Lee tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Lee tries to clinch but Hay moves out of range. Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lee lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Hay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hong Lee dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Lee counters with a two punch combo. Hay fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lee lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Lee circles away from the clinch attempt and Lee counters with an inside leg kick. Hay shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Lee shoots in but no luck this time. Hay pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dirk Hay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee fails with a takedown attempt. Hay misses with a body shot.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee trying to control but Hay is working from the bottom. Hay is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hay trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Lee trying to control but Hay is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lee gets to his feet. Hay looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Dirk Hay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hay thows a leg kick but Lee checks it and Lee decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hay's guard. Hay wants to stand and escape but Lee is having none of it. Lee wants to control from the top but Hay keeps moving. Hay pushes Lee off and gets back to his feet.

Lee is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hay is defending well for now. Lee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hay just stands there and leans against the cage. Lee is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hay as Lee tries to tie him up. Hay works on Lee's body with a couple of short punches. Lee is trying to break free. Lee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hay prevents it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hay blocks a head kick by Lee.

Lee shoots in but Hay avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hay wants to clinch but Lee slips to the side and Lee counters by clinching up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hong Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Hay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Lee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Lee lands the left hand. A nice combination there by Lee.

and Lee counters with a head kick. Lee thumps Hay with a low kick. Lee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hay! Lee working away from the top, dropping strikes. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hay is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hay bucks Lee off and manages to get back to his feet! Lee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Hay scores with a one two! Lee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Lee shoots in but no luck this time. Hay tests Lee's chin there with a solid looking shot. Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hay avoids it really well and circles away. Dirk Hay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hong Lee. Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hay sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hay throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters with a thumping low kick. Lee moves into the clinch. Hay tries to land a knee to the head but Lee blocks with his arms.

Lee prevents Hay from breaking the clinch. Hay is struggling to control the position. Lee looking for a takedown. Lee wants a takedown.
Lee has Hay pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hay manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hay stalling in the clinch.
Lee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hay is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Lee stalling in the clinch.

Hay gets control of Lee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hay will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Lee stops Hay from standing up. Lee trying to control but Hay is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lee decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hay, up you get! Hay lands a lovely overhand right. Hay takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Lee fails with the takedown. Lee looks to clinch and Hay counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hay can't get the takedown.
Dirk Hay has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hay is trying to break the clinch but Lee is controlling him. Lee's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hay trying to land knees to the body.
Lee breaks from the clinch.
Hong Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lee forces Hay back against the cage and clinches. Hay lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Lee backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! Hong Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Lee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
