Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between jake the grid iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tracey St John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St John has chosen Come Around as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, jake the grid iron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tracey St John! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! the grid iron tries to close the distance and clinch up but St John swats him away and circles back towards the center. St John closes the distance but the grid iron moves to the side and the grid iron counters with a nice double leg into guard. the grid iron slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. St John looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. the grid iron thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. St John is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and the grid iron defends well. the grid iron trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. the grid iron tries to stand but St John is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. St John is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. the grid iron is aware though and is defending well. St John looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
St John controls the grid iron momentarily but the grid iron frees himself. St John wants to stand but the grid iron is controlling the position. St John looks gassed! the grid iron postures up.
St John trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! St John trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. St John wants to stand up but the grid iron is controlling him. St John has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but the grid iron can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. the grid iron not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. St John had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. the grid iron defends it easily. the grid iron looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. the grid iron is stalling in the full guard. St John is trying to control the position from the bottom.
the grid iron got a little sloppy there for a moment and St John has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, the grid iron has managed to get both his arms back between St John's legs - danger averted. St John working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. St John had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. the grid iron defends it easily. the grid iron missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. St John is looking to sweep but instead, the grid iron has passed into half guard.

the grid iron gets a clinch. the grid iron is looking for a takedown up against the cage. St John gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. St John manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

St John has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. the grid iron avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. the grid iron looking to slow down the pace here. the grid iron is trying to break free. the grid iron fails to pull the fight into his guard.
St John tries for a takedown. No joy.
St John throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but the grid iron blocks it with crossed arms. St John tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
jake the grid iron has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tracey St John. St John creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. the grid iron has dropped down and is working for a takedown. St John is trying to keep an underhook but the grid iron manages to get the takedown into half guard. Tracey St John has got the better of the ground game so far. the grid iron throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. St John looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. the grid iron knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for St John on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. the grid iron wants to stand but his hand is trapped. St John uses the opportunity to regain full guard. the grid iron postures up.
the grid iron wants to control from the top but St John keeps moving. St John pushes a forearm under the grid iron's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, the grid iron is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
