Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayden Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar comes to the cage accompanied by Antistar (by Massive Attack). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Salazar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jayden Lee! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Salazar. That one must have hurt. Lee takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Salazar throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Salazar throws a wild body kick that Lee sees coming a mile off. Salazar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Salazar bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards. A slapping body kick lands there for Salazar. Salazar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Salazar lands a two punch combo.
Salazar tries a head kick but it misses.
Salazar pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lee is out of range and Salazar settles back down. Salazar thuds his shin into the meat of Lee's side. Lee looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Salazar looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well. Salazar throws the kick towards the body but Lee avoids it. Salazar shoots in and drives through. Lee sprawls well. Salazar throws a head kick that Lee semi-blocks.
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lee crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Salazar - the referee stops the clock and Lee gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Salazar. Lee manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Salazar misses with a kick to the body.
Salazar gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lee misses with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salazar throws the kick towards the body but Lee avoids it. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Salazar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Lee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Salazar counters by moving into the clinch. Salazar jumps guard but Lee stands there with Salazar around his waist. Salazar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Salazar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lee gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robbie Salazar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salazar fails to pull guard.
Lee breaks the clinch.
Salazar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Salazar throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Lee throws a leg kick which misses Salazar's front leg but catches the back leg as Salazar tries to avoid it. Salazar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salazar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Salazar to the mat! Salazar manages to get full guard. Salazar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salazar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Salazar working for a submission but Lee is keeping him at bay. Lee manages to regain half guard. Good work. Salazar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Salazar passes to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Salazar moves to the back. Salazar looking for the RNC. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Salazar wants to control but Lee is keeping busy. Lee is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Salazar off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Salazar is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lee knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lee for a finish. Lee rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbie Salazar dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

A slapping body kick lands there for Salazar. Salazar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Nice body kick there by Salazar. Salazar dodges the punch combination from Lee.
Salazar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salazar trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salazar passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lee! Lee is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Salazar has taken his back.
Lee defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Salazar's arms. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Salazar. Salazar has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lee has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salazar tightening his grip on Lee, looking for the choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salazar throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Salazar is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lee knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lee for a finish. Lee tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Robbie Salazar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Salazar looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Salazar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lee has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lee! Salazar manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Salazar swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
