PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slugg Grue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Marko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marko's choice of entrance music: Holocausto. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marko is defended easily by Grue.

Grue shoots for a double leg takedown but Marko sprawls well. He's pushed Grue's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Marko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Grue to the mat! Grue manages to get full guard.
Grue is looking to sweep but instead, Marko has passed into half guard.

Marko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grue gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Marko is rocked!
Grue dances in with a quick combination. Marko is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Grue snaps Marko's head back. Marko stumbles backwards against the cage. Grue steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Marko's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Marko just didn't come prepared.
