Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike McDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Travis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Travis is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Represent - Hed PE. Tyson Travis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike McDougal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Travis!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Travis has taken the fight to the clinch.
McDougal tries to pull guard but Travis holds him up against the cage and eventually McDougal drops back down to his feet.
McDougal pulls guard effortlessly.
McDougal tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Travis gets to his feet - McDougal follows without any prompting.
McDougal is breathing heavily.
Travis is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Travis moves out of range as McDougal throws a body kick.
Travis lands with a kick to the temple. McDougal shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Travis clinches.
Travis jumps into guard, dragging McDougal to the mat.
Travis looking to hit a scissor sweep but McDougal is one step ahead there.
Travis will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Travis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McDougal is controlling him.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Travis wants to control the position but McDougal says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Travis manages to get to full guard.
McDougal gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

McDougal shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Travis pinned against the cage. Travis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Travis darts in and clinches McDougal up against the cage.

McDougal shoots in but Travis avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Travis is working for takedown but McDougal is calmly controlling the position for now.
Travis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McDougal bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Travis tries to improve position but can't.
McDougal tries for a kimura but Travis is defending well.
Travis is pushing McDougal's head away, looking to escape. McDougal manages to hold on to the position though.
McDougal wants to stand but Travis has his arm trapped.

Travis is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
McDougal wants to control but Travis is keeping him busy.
McDougal is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Travis has escaped the position, nice work there.
McDougal working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Travis is pushing McDougal's head away, looking to escape. McDougal manages to hold on to the position though.
McDougal is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Travis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

McDougal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
McDougal lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Travis is working to avoid the ground and pound but McDougal connects with a decent elbow.
McDougal wants to control but Travis is keeping him busy.
Travis tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McDougal wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
McDougal tries to advance to mount but Travis denies him.
McDougal tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McDougal has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
McDougal goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Travis has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for McDougal but great work by Travis.
McDougal tries to get back to half guard but can't.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
McDougal sneaks back into half guard.
McDougal is trying to maintain the position but Travis is very close to passing his half guard.
Travis stands up and beckons McDougal to join him on the feet.
Travis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Travis connects with a crisp jab.
McDougal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Travis closes the distance and lands a one-two.
McDougal drives through and clinches with Travis against the cage.
McDougal is trying to break free.
Travis looking to slow down the pace here.
McDougal jumps into guard, dragging Travis to the mat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McDougal working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Travis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Travis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
McDougal is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

McDougal shoots in and drives through. Travis sprawls well.
McDougal tries to keep at a distance but Travis has taken the fight into the clinch.
McDougal breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by McDougal or perhaps it was just good defense by Travis which made him look bad.
McDougal throws a head kick that misses
and Travis counters with a nice low kick that buckles McDougal's knee momentarily.
Travis has closed the distance and engaged McDougal in a clinch.
McDougal gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
McDougal stops Travis from standing up.
McDougal cracks Travis with a solid left hand.
Travis trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Travis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McDougal is controlling him.
Travis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Travis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McDougal does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mike McDougal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Travis connects with a nice short shot to McDougal's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
McDougal moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Travis clinches up with McDougal and pushes him back against the cage.
Travis lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down McDougal.
Travis misses with a knee strike.
Travis prevents McDougal from breaking the clinch.
Travis manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Travis has his foot on McDougal's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McDougal works his way back into a safe position though.
McDougal pushes down on Travis's leg and manages to get into half guard.
McDougal seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
McDougal uses his free foot to push down on Travis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Travis.
McDougal has isolated one of Travis's arms. Travis looking to fight him off but McDougal twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
