Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roy Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Hearns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by "Tommy the Cat" by Primus. Hearns has chosen From the 'D' as his entrance music. Roy Parker is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roy Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronnie Hearns! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hearns moves out of range of the body kick. Hearns rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hearns tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hearns looks to score with a jab to the body but Parker is just out of range. Parker looks to clinch and Hearns counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Parker! Parker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Parker tries to hold on but Hearns pushes him away. Hearns lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Parker hang on? Parker is looking to improve his position but Hearns isn't that keen on the idea. Hearns raining down shots from the mount! Hearns working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. A nice elbow there by Hearns. Parker takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. This has been an exciting period of action! Hearns raining down shots from the mount!
Parker is rocked! Hearns avoids the attempt from Parker to control. Oh Parker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Parker is bucking up trying to escape but Hearns cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hearns working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Parker seems to have got his legs back now. Hearns really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hearns avoids the attempt from Parker to control. Hearns looking to secure an arm triangle but Parker defends it well. Hearns lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hearns prevents Parker from getting the reversal. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parker is squirming around, avoiding Hearns's attempts to control the action. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hearns avoids the attempt from Parker to control. Hearns is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Parker can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Parker is bucking up trying to escape but Hearns cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Parker is breathing heavily. Hearns working for a guillotine from mount but Parker is in no mood to give up. Hearns prevents Parker from getting the reversal. Hearns landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker regains half guard. Parker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Parker throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hearns pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Parker is keeping the position for now. Parker looking for a sweep. Not yet Parker, not yet. Hearns passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hearns moves into full mount! Hearns punishing his opponent with strikes. Parker slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Hearns is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Parker is trying to maintain the position but Hearns is very close to passing his half guard. Hearns wants to stand but Parker has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Parker gets back to full guard.
Parker looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Parker throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hearns trying to stand up but can't free himself from Parker's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hearns manages to get himself to full guard.
Hearns looking for a guillotine here but Parker defends easily.
Hearns looking to hit a scissor sweep but Parker is one step ahead there. Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hearns swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hearns wants to stand and escape but Parker is having none of it. Hearns scores with a nice shot. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hearns trying to control the position.
Hearns throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Parker throws a hook but Hearns avoids it easily. Parker gets the takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ronnie Hearns dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Hearns misses with a takedown and Parker counters with a single leg into guard. Hearns didn't expect that. Hearns not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Parker works a leg free and moves into half guard. Parker is looking to take a break and control but Hearns is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are battling for position here. Hearns manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hearns bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parker's guard. Hearns stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Parker has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Hearns manages to get his head free but now Parker has transitioned to an armbar! Hearns grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Parker! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
