Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Hilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Selph Throttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Hilton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Selph Throttle! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hilton tries to clinch but Throttle moves out of range. Throttle throws the left hand but Hilton avoids the punch easily. Hilton tries to clinch there but Throttle circles away.
Throttle clinches but Hilton breaks the clinch and Hilton holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Throttle working hard to break the clinch. Throttle looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Throttle pulls guard. Throttle preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hilton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hilton wants to pass the guard but Throttle is keeping the position. Hilton throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hilton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Throttle works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hilton wants to pass the guard but Throttle is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Throttle wants to get back to his feet but Hilton is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hilton has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hilton prevents Throttle from breaking the clinch. Hilton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Throttle's elbow. Throttle tries to break free but Hilton pushes him back against the cage. Hilton can't get the takedown.
Hilton's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Throttle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hilton. Hilton blocks a low kick nicely. Throttle lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Roger Hilton has been cut. Hilton keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Throttle. Throttle gets a clinch. Throttle is pressed up against the cage. Hilton has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Throttle down to the mat. Throttle avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Hilton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hilton avoids the body shot from Throttle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Throttle connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hilton. Hilton circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Selph Throttle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Throttle scores with a slapping inside leg kick. A shot to de liver by Throttle. Beautiful body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A telegraphed right hand from Throttle misses the target. Throttle tries to clinch up and Hilton counters by moving into the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Hilton.
Throttle's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Throttle wants to break the clinch but can't.

Throttle throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Hilton counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Hilton not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hilton is breathing heavily. Throttle pushes Hilton off and gets back to his feet. Hilton moves in looking to clinch but Throttle pushes him off. Throttle throws a hook but Hilton blocks it. Throttle tries to clinch up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Throttle pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hilton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Throttle works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hilton throws a big right hand that misses. Throttle wants to stand and escape but Hilton is having none of it. Hilton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hilton throwing strikes but missing. Throttle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hilton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hilton is in close to Throttle's body, working some short punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Roger Hilton will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Roger Hilton's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Throttle is pushing Hilton's head away, looking to escape. Hilton manages to hold on to the position though. Throttle is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Roger Hilton will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Roger Hilton's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Throttle clinches but Hilton breaks the clinch and Hilton counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Throttle! Hilton postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Throttle looks a forlorn figure.

Throttle is trying to stand up. Hilton throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Throttle really wants to buck Hilton off and get back to his feet. Hilton sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Hilton unloads with some shots from mount but Throttle bucks and avoids them well.

And that's the end of the fight! Roger Hilton showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hilton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
