Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Lozada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Lozada has chosen Im still fly as his entrance music. Joey Lozada looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joey Lozada!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lozada misses with a hook. Jackson ducked under it nicely.
Lozada looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lozada stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lozada wants it to stay on the feet.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lozada swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lozada sprawls well. Lozada wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lozada's waist but Lozada gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.

Lozada leaves Jackson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jackson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lozada pulls his head out easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Lozada counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jackson's guard now.

Lozada drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jackson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jackson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jackson!

Lozada is working to avoid the ground and pound but Jackson connects with a decent elbow.

Lozada wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
