Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louie Langostino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenneth Charles looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenneth Charles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Louie Langostino!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles fails in his attempt to clinch.
Charles connects with a solid leg kick.
Langostino swats away the attempt to clinch by Charles.
Charles is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Langostino shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Charles's guard.
Langostino showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Langostino wants to control from the top but Charles keeps moving.
Langostino is looking to stand up but Charles won't let him.

Langostino decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Charles, up you get!

and Langostino counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Charles's guard now.

Langostino throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Charles because Langostino loaded up on that one.

Charles is looking to improve his position but Langostino isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Langostino stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Charles looks for a takedown but Langostino sprawls well.

That's time! Charles's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Charles tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Langostino just stands there and leans against the cage.

Langostino wants the takedown. Charles is fighting it off but Langostino persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Charles's guard against the cage.

Charles tries to clinch but Langostino is having none of it.
Charles fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Charles is looking for a triangle here but Langostino uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Langostino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Charles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Langostino not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Charles looking to control.
Langostino wants to control from the top but Charles keeps moving.
Langostino loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Langostino stands up from Charles's guard - Langostino perhaps looking for a knockout.

Charles gets a clinch.

Langostino wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Charles has him pressed against the cage.
Langostino tries to break the clinch but Charles is controlling the position.

Langostino drags the fight down to the ground.

Langostino is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Langostino wants the takedown. Charles is fighting it off but Langostino persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Charles's guard against the cage.
Charles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Charles looking for a guillotine here but Langostino defends easily.

Charles is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Charles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Langostino can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Langostino slips nicely into half guard.

Langostino is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Louie Langostino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Langostino closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Langostino decides to stand and escape the position.
Charles with a poor takedown

and Langostino counters with a single leg into guard. Charles didn't expect that.

Langostino looking to sit in guard and control but Charles gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Langostino tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Charles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Charles wants to pass the guard but Langostino is keeping the position.
Langostino pulls Charles in close to his closed guard and prevents Charles from doing any damage or advancing position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Langostino's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Charles passes Langostino's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Charles passes to full mount!
Langostino can't escape the position.
Langostino regains half guard.
Langostino preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Langostino flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Langostino is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Charles's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Charles's back!
Langostino is punishing Charles with strikes - can he finish him?!
Langostino slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Charles tries to escape but Langostino has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Kenneth Charles has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Langostino lands shots from the back.
Langostino lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Langostino.
Langostino throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Charles!

And that's the end of the fight!
Louie Langostino comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Langostino winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
