The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dexter closes the distance and clinches up with Karatinov, looking for a takedown. Dexter pushes Karatinov against the cage but Karatinov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Karatinov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dexter.
Karatinov rushes Dexter and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dexter tries to pull guard but Karatinov won't allow it.
Karatinov pulls Dexter into guard.
Dexter wants to pass the guard but Karatinov is keeping the position.
Karatinov manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Karatinov looking to isolate an arm here. Dexter doesn't see it coming and as Karatinov extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Karatinov!
