The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fidelo throws a leg kick but Silva checks it.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fidelo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva blocks a head kick by Fidelo.
Silva lands a two punch combo.
Fidelo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fidelo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fidelo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva lands a jab to Fidelo's midsection.
Fidelo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Silva to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva avoids the head kick by Fidelo.
Silva misses with a two punch combination.
Silva blocks a head kick by Fidelo.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fidelo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Silva checks it well.
Fidelo throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
Fidelo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Silva is breathing heavily.

Silva gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fidelo.
Silva drops his hands momentarily and Fidelo needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Silva just on the top of the head. Silva drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Silva - he's done!
