Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adon Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ras Butten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butten has chosen Apoptygma Berzerk - Fade to Black as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adon Reis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ras Butten! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butten pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reis lands a nice looking body kick. Butten gets a takedown into half guard. Reis trying to control but Butten postures up.
Butten prevents Reis from standing back up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Butten is looking for a kimura but Reis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Butten to get the leverage. Reis tries to get to full guard but Butten has control of the leg. Butten wants to free his trapped foot but Reis is holding on for dear life with his legs. Butten is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Reis keeping moving, preventing Butten from controlling successfully. Butten slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis is looking for a sweep. Butten trying to control the action but Reis is working from the bottom. Reis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Reis trying to hold on to Butten's head to control him but Butten postures up.
Butten is looking for a kimura but Reis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Butten to get the leverage. Reis is trying to get back to full guard. Butten trying to control the action but Reis is working from the bottom. Reis wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A jab from Butten does it's job there.
It looks like Adon Reis has been cut. Reis fails with an attempt to clinch.
Reis swings for the body but Butten moves out of range.
A head kick by Reis misses and Butten counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Reis's guard now. Reis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Reis wants to sweep here but Butten controlling him for the moment. Reis trying to control the position.
Butten wants to pass the guard but Reis is keeping the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Reis is trying to keep Butten in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butten wants to control from the top but Reis keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Butten checks a low kick from Reis. Reis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Butten lands a nice hook to Reis's body. Reis takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Reis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Butten. Butten takes the fight into the clinch. Butten breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Adon Reis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Butten closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Butten lands in his opponent's guard. Reis is breathing heavily. Butten lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Butten with a flurry of punches that miss. Butten drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Reis dives on top into guard. Reis is looking to work some ground and pound but Butten has wrist control. Reis looking to pass the guard. Reis preventing the sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reis tries to free his leg and advance position but Butten is retaining full guard. Butten is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Reis tries to clinch but fails miserably and Butten counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Reis keeping moving, preventing Butten from controlling successfully. Butten sitting in guard here, content to control. Reis is looking for a triangle but Butten pushes his legs off easily.

Reis trying to control the position from guard on top but Butten is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ras Butten has got the better of the ground game so far. Butten has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Butten is trying to keep Reis in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Reis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butten swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reis trying to control but Butten is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Reis throws a nice outside leg kick. Butten scores a takedown into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reis wants to control but Butten is having none of it. Butten prevents Reis from getting the reversal. Butten goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Reis turns into him and now he's in Butten's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Reis is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Butten ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Reis throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A nice inside leg kick there by Reis. That's going to slow Butten down. A bone on bone clash there as Butten blocks the leg kick.
Adon Reis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reis tries to clinch and Butten moves into the clinch. Butten wants a takedown.

Butten misses with a straight right. Reis closes the distance looking to clinch and Butten counters with a straight right hand. Reis throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Reis throws a sloppy head kick and Butten moves out of range easily. Reis tries to clinch up and Butten counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Reis is lucky that one didn't land flush. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reis throws a body kick the misses and Butten counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Reis's guard now. Reis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Butten controls the pace. Butten has gone for a leg lock! Reis slips out almost immediately though and dives into Butten's guard. Reis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Butten works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Butten looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Butten working a defensive guard here.

Reis drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Butten manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Reis has Butten in his guard. Butten postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Reis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Butten, into his guard. Reis stops Butten from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Butten keeping moving, preventing Reis from controlling successfully. Reis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Butten is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Butten trying to control but Reis is working from the bottom. Reis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ras Butten is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Butten keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Butten makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Butten. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reis looking to sit in guard and control but Butten gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that's the end of the fight! Ras Butten comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Butten has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
