Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between An Sil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elvis Spikers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elvis Spikers!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Spikers. No joy for Sil on that attempt.
Sil closes the distance and clinches up with Spikers, looking for a takedown. Sil pushes Spikers against the cage but Spikers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Spikers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sil shoots for a takedown but Spikers saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for An Sil. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Spikers throws a shot to the body.
Sil looks for a takedown but Spikers sprawls well.

Sil looks for a takedown but Spikers sprawls well.

Spikers throws a right and a left that Sil avoids nicely.
An Sil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spikers scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Spikers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sil circles away.
Sil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spikers tries to avoid it but Sil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spikers to the ground. Spikers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Spikers is looking to clinch but Sil is avoiding it.

Spikers fails with an attempt to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Sil or perhaps it was just good defense by Spikers which made him look bad.

and Spikers counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Spikers.

Sil drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Spikers gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sil jumps guard and drags Spikers to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sil wants to sweep but no luck.
Spikers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sil. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sil is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sil is looking to advance position but Spikers won't allow it.

Sil is trying to work for a kimura but Spikers is defending well.

Spikers is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sil is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Spikers defends it well.

Sil escapes and gets back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sil.
Spikers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Spikers stuffs the takedown attempt from Sil. Sil gets slowly back to his feet.
Spikers tries to close the distance and clinch but Sil swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Spikers is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Spikers wants to clinch up but Sil keeps it at a distance.
Sil fails with the takedown.

Spikers has managed to clinch.
Spikers lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sil backwards.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Spikers.
Sil on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Spikers pushes Sil back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Spikers pulls guard successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Spikers moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sil fails with the takedown

and Spikers counters by clinching up.
Spikers with a knee to the head.

Sil goes for a takedown attempt but Spikers pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Spikers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Spikers cracks Sil with a nice body shot.
Sil tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Spikers smiles and moves away.

Sil shoots in for a double leg but Spikers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sil is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Sil slips nicely into half guard.
Sil wants to pass the guard but Spikers is defending well.
Sil throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Sil works his way into side control.

Sil in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sil is putting a hurting on Spikers here, landing some big shots from side control.

Sil is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Spikers has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sil tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sil has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sil wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Spikers, who protects the arm well.

Spikers is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sil connects with a decent elbow.
Sil works to advance to full mount. Spikers defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Sil jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Spikers is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Spikers and Sil has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Sil throws an elbow but Spikers slips to the side and avoids it well.
Sil grinds an elbow into Spikers's temple.

Sil is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Spikers has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sil is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Spikers knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Spikers is looking for a sweep.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Spikers counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Spikers looks at the referee who does nothing so Spikers lands a crushing right that sends Sil to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elvis Spikers!
