Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Martel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Return of the Mack. Dwayne Martel had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed fails with an attempt to clinch.
Reed is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Martel clinches up against the cage. Knees to the body from Martel.
Reed drops down looking for an ankle pick but Martel pulls his leg out and moves away.
Martel's corner calls for a 1-2. Martel obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Martel tries to clinch and Martel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Martel rushes Reed and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Martel with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Pete Reed has been cut. Martel goes for a takedown in the clinch but Reed prevents it.
Reed lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Reed turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Reed manages to end up in side control. Reed goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Martel has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Reed but great work by Martel. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reed struggling a bit here. Reed parries the strikes from Martel easily there. Martel is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Reed to escape.
Reed wants to control but Martel postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martel controls the position from side control. Reed is not content to let Martel control the position. Reed struggling a bit here. Martel tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Martel tries to land a front kick but Reed steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Martel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Martel is breathing heavily. Reed looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Reed works his way to full guard. Good work. Reed manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Reed avoids the attempt from Martel to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Martel turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Reed off and cradles Martel's limp body as Reed celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Pete Reed!
