The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turpa throws a leg kick which misses Mattilen's front leg but catches the back leg as Mattilen tries to avoid it.

Turpa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mattilen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turpa has managed to get both his arms back between Mattilen's legs - danger averted.

Mattilen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Turpa kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Turpa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mattilen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Turpa rolls with it to try and escape but Mattilen cranks on the arm and Turpa is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
