Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Uuno Turpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirkko Mattilen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Uuno Turpa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mirkko Mattilen! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turpa throws a leg kick which misses Mattilen's front leg but catches the back leg as Mattilen tries to avoid it. Mattilen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mattilen looks gassed! Turpa is trying to improve his position. Mattilen controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turpa wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mattilen tries for a kimura but Turpa is defending well. Turpa is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Turpa wants to control but Mattilen postures up. Turpa wants to get back to his feet but Mattilen is dominant here and he's now got Turpa's back! A lull in the action here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mattilen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mattilen is pressing down on Turpa's thigh, looking to free his foot. Turpa is holding on for now. Turpa preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Mattilen is breathing heavily. Turpa pushes Mattilen off looking to stand but Mattilen dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mattilen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Turpa keeps working. Turpa wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Turpa. You can see the frustration on Mattilen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Turpa tries to stand but Mattilen is controlling his head. Mattilen struggling a bit here. Mattilen is not content to let Turpa control the position. Mattilen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Turpa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Turpa, right into the meat.
Turpa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mattilen is trying to defend but Turpa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Turpa tries to stand but can't do so whilst Mattilen controls his leg. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mattilen looking for submissions off his back. Mattilen looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Turpa connects with a right hand. Mattilen shakes it off. Turpa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Turpa scores with a hook to the body. Mattilen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Nice body kick from Turpa. Turpa throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Turpa looks to land a combination. Mattilen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Mattilen takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Turpa has managed to clinch.
Turpa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mattilen walks into a straight right hand from Turpa. Turpa has managed to clinch.
Turpa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Turpa looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mattilen trying to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turpa wants to control from the top but Mattilen keeps moving. Mattilen working for a triangle but Turpa defends it easily.
Turpa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mattilen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turpa has managed to get both his arms back between Mattilen's legs - danger averted. Turpa throws a big right hand that misses. Mattilen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mattilen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Turpa kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turpa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mattilen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mattilen controls Turpa momentarily but Turpa frees himself. Turpa trying to control the position from guard on top but Mattilen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mattilen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mattilen is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Turpa rolls with it to try and escape but Mattilen cranks on the arm and Turpa is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
