Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Amun Abdelghani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kondrad Markoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markoni shoots for a double leg takedown but Abdelghani sprawls well. He's pushed Markoni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Markoni throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Amun Abdelghani has been cut.

and Markoni counters with a solid body kick.
Markoni looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Markoni counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Abdelghani!

Abdelghani is squirming around, avoiding Markoni's attempts to control the action.

Markoni just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Markoni is looking to control Abdelghani but Abdelghani is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Markoni is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Abdelghani knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Abdelghani for a finish.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close second round but I would say that Amun Abdelghani will probably get the nod.

Abdelghani winds up and cracks Markoni with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Abdelghani wants to lay and pray for a moment but Markoni keeps working.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Markoni closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Markoni throws a knee to the head but misses.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Amun Abdelghani.
I think Abdelghani has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
