Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iman Kraken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nuri Alco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kraken comes to the cage accompanied by I Run. Nuri Alco has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nuri Alco!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraken misses with a two punch combination.
Kraken looks to land a combination but Alco avoids it well.

Kraken scores with a takedown into Alco's guard.

Alco throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kraken stopping the sweep attempt from Alco.
Kraken scoring with some ground and pound.
Alco wants to sweep here but Kraken controlling him for the moment.
Alco is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Kraken avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alco is on top in guard.
Alco advances position into side control!
Kraken knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alco on the ground.
Kraken is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Alco's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Alco trying to control the action but Kraken is working from the bottom.
Alco wants to free his trapped foot but Kraken is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Kraken wants to improve his position but Alco is controlling well.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Kraken pushes Alco off looking to stand but Alco dives back in and keeps control.
Alco thows a huge punch but Kraken dodges it nicely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Alco tries for a takedown but Kraken circles away easily
and Kraken counters with a series of strikes. Alco will be more careful next time no doubt.

Kraken throws a head kick but Alco moves out of range.

and Kraken moves into the clinch.
Kraken gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Alco.
Iman Kraken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nuri Alco.
Alco wants a takedown but no success here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Kraken counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Alco looks to clinch
and Kraken counters with a two punch combo.
Kraken lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alco circles away quickly and effectively.
Kraken misses with a double jab.
Kraken showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Alco.
Kraken takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Kraken misses with a wild combination.
Alco jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Kraken has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kraken wants to break free but Alco has control.

Kraken pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Alco showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kraken.
Kraken throws a left and a right that both miss
and Alco counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Kraken has Alco up against the cage in a clinch.
Kraken is trying to force a seperation but Alco has the dominant position.
Alco tries to score a body lock takedown but Kraken shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Kraken's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Alco stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alco wants it to stay on the feet.
Kraken uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Alco.
Alco showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kraken.
Kraken dives in and grabs Alco's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alco pushes down on Kraken's head and hops out.

Alco looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Alco tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kraken knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Alco is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Alco wants to work for an arm triangle but Kraken is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kraken is refusing to be controlled, as Alco sits in half guard.
Kraken is trying to stand.
Alco is keen to just control but Kraken is a slippery customer.
Alco trying to mount his opponent but Kraken defends it.
Kraken tries to kick Alco off but Alco keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Alco works his foot free and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Nuri Alco will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Kraken throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kraken ducks under a wild hook from Alco.
Alco slips a jab and a cross from Kraken.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kraken feints and as Alco raises his hands in defense, Kraken changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Alco trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Alco looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kraken is one step ahead there.

Alco is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Alco stands up and beckons Kraken to join him on the feet.
Kraken missing with a left hand there. Alco was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kraken scores with a three punch combo!
Alco attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Alco fails with the takedown
and Kraken counters with a left and a right that stings Alco.
Alco lands a really nice looking cross but Kraken seems unphased.
Iman Kraken is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Alco pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kraken tried to score with a low kick but Alco checks it.
Kraken circles away from the clinch attempt
and Kraken counters with a three punch combo that has Alco backing up. Alco nods at Kraken to acknowledge the strikes.

Alco looks to land a right hand but Kraken moved out of range.
Alco wants to clinch but Kraken slips to the side

and Kraken counters by moving into the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kraken.
Alco keeps control of Kraken as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Kraken breaks from the clinch.
Kraken throws a left and a right that both miss
and Alco counters with a nice uppercut.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Alco misses with a combination
and Kraken counters with a straight right hand.
Alco gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kraken counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kraken.

Kraken's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Alco jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Alco ducks right into an uppercut from Kraken.

And that's the end of the fight!
Iman Kraken showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Kraken has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
