Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Dang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Dang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Clark! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Dang. Dang moves into range and connects with a jab. Dang fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Clark on the side of the head. Dang thows a body shot but no joy. Dang throws a right and a left that both miss. Dang scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Clark doesn't seem bothered though. Clark walks into a left hand. Dang throws a series of punches but Clark avoids them all with ease. Clark looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Eric Dang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dang lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dang lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dang. Dang throws a jab but it's blocked by Clark. Dang works over Clark's head and body with a nice combination. Clark takes one on the button. Dang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Clark backs up against the cage.
Dang scores with a jab to the body. Dang sizes up Clark with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. This has been an exciting period of action! Clark darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Clark is keen to just control but Dang is a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dang tries to kick Clark off but Clark keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dang is not content to let Clark control the position. Clark is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dang doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clark. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clark frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dang is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark working for a guillotine from mount but Dang is in no mood to give up. Dang is squirming around, avoiding Clark's attempts to control the action. Clark postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dang looks a forlorn figure.
Clark thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Poor strikes thrown by Clark there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Clark thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Dang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dang tries to get out of the position. Clark punching from mount but Dang doing a good job of avoiding damage. Clark looking for a guillotine from mount but Dang is having none of it. Clark sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dang works Clark's body with a nice hook. Dang throws a shot to the body.
Clark closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Dang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clark on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Clark bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Clark tries to clinch up. Dang digs a good hook to Clark's body.
Dang lands with a nice combination. Clark backs away looking to recover. Clark drives through and clinches with Dang against the cage.
Clark wants a takedown but no success here.

Clark has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dang avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Clark misses with a hook from the clinch. Clark goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dang prevents it.
Eric Dang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Clark. Dang changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Clark fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A nice combination there by Dang.
Dang works Clark's body with a nice hook. Dang keeps the fight on the outside. Dang connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Dang misses with a few strikes there.
A slow jab from Clark misses its intended target. Dang lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Dang thuds a left hand into Clark's body. Dang bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Clark's head. Dang scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Clark moves into the clinch successfully.
Clark tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dang's elbow. Clark misses with some punches.
Clark has a couple of punches blocked by Dang.
Clark gets underhooks to prevent Dang's takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A hook to the body from Clark.
A short body shot lands from Clark as the two fighters clinch.
Clark stalls. Clark presses Dang against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Clark jumps guard but Dang stands there with Clark around his waist. Clark gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Clark tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dang just stands there and leans against the cage. Dang prevents a takedown attempt there.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Clark. Clark lands a shoulder strike. Dang drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Clark jumps into guard, dragging Dang to the mat.
Clark has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dang won't allow Clark to sweep him here. Clark is trying to keep Dang in close.
Dang might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Clark is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Clark is breathing heavily. Dang wants to stand but Clark is controlling his posture from full guard. Clark is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Clark had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dang defends it easily. Clark is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dang is aware though and is defending well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dang would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clark shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Dang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Clark backs up against the cage.
Dang looks to land a left hand but Clark moved out of range nicely. Dang fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clark manages to avoid it. Dang lands a right hook to the body.
Clark has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Clark shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dang but Dang pushes him off and we're back to square one. Dang throws a left and a right that both miss
and Clark counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Clark decides to pull guard. Clark takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Dang wanted to stand there but Clark had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dang wants to stand and escape but instead Clark has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Clark postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dang is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clark, into his guard. Clark pulls Dang in close to prevent any damage. Dang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clark on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dang avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Clark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dang wanted to stand there but Clark had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark looking to control.
Clark trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Clark is looking for a triangle but Dang pushes his legs off easily.

Clark looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eric Dang. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dang, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
