Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Duke Drosey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jukkis Karvakorva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drosey might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Trash. Karvakorva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Living dead superstar. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karvakorva shoots in and drives through. Drosey sprawls well. Drosey with a lazy takedown attempt and Karvakorva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drosey's guard now. Karvakorva works a leg free and moves into half guard. Karvakorva content to control rather than advance. Drosey is looking to improve his position.
Drosey is refusing to be controlled, as Karvakorva sits in half guard. Drosey wants to get back to his feet. Drosey blocking the ground and pound attempt from Karvakorva. Drosey regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Karvakorva. Drosey is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Karvakorva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Karvakorva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Drosey stuns Karvakorva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Karvakorva bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Karvakorva looks gassed! Drosey gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Karvakorva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Drosey's head. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Karvakorva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jukkis Karvakorva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Karvakorva misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Drosey is looking for a sweep. Karvakorva in side control lands a decent elbow.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Duke Drosey. I think Karvakorva has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
