Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Cowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razor De Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Costa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Synphony of Destruction by Megadeth kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anderson Cowell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Razor De Costa!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cowell shoots in but De Costa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cowell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but De Costa swivels and escapes.
Cowell throws the kick towards the body but De Costa avoids it.
De Costa cracks Cowell with an open hand slap.


It looks like Anderson Cowell has been cut.
De Costa is looking to clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cowell.

De Costa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cowell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

De Costa lands a couple of elbows.

De Costa is in close to Cowell's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Cowell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

De Costa lands a left and a right that send Cowell crashing to the mat, dazed. De Costa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

De Costa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cowell is working away from the top position though.

Cowell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. De Costa doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cowell.

Cowell seems to be working for a kimura but De Costa defends the submission attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
De Costa is looking to control Cowell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can De Costa avoid being mounted?

Razor De Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

De Costa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cowell circles away quickly and effectively.
Cowell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around De Costa's waist but De Costa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cowell off to one side.
