Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Cabresco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duran is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Still Fly. Austin Duran has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with David Cabresco's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Cabresco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Duran! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cabresco throws a sloppy head kick and Duran moves out of range easily. Cabresco shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Cabresco perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Duran is not content to let Cabresco control the position. Cabresco is trying to work for a kimura but Duran is defending well.
Duran tries to get to full guard but Cabresco has control of the leg. Well, if Cabresco is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran looks gassed!
The referee stands the fighters back up. David Cabresco just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Cabresco lands a high kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cabresco throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Cabresco tries to clinch but Duran is having none of it. Cabresco shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Duran's guard. Duran can't keep his opponent in guard - Cabresco advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Cabresco is figuring out what he wants to do next. Duran is not content to let Cabresco control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cabresco seems to be working for a kimura but Duran defends the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duran wants to improve his position but Cabresco is controlling well.
Cabresco seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Cabresco decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Duran slaps away a takedown attempt from Cabresco, before circling back to the center of the mat. Cabresco has a takedown stuffed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Horrible takedown by Cabresco or perhaps it was just good defense by Duran which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Cabresco. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cabresco fails in his attempt to clinch. Cabresco throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Duran was covering up waiting for the punch and Cabresco finishes the takedown easily into guard. Duran working a defensive guard but Cabresco passes into half guard.
Cabresco controlling the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Cabresco dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Cabresco tries to clinch there but Duran circles away.
Cabresco throws a nice head kick!
Duran tries to keep at a distance but Cabresco has taken the fight into the clinch. Duran drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cabresco gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cabresco's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Cabresco tries to score a body lock takedown but Duran shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Duran is breathing heavily. Cabresco escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Duran gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cabresco to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cabresco controls from within his opponent's guard. Cabresco passes easily into side control. Nice work. Duran is looking for a sweep. Cabresco taking a breather here. Cabresco tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cabresco connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Duran some visible discomfort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duran is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Duran being controlled for a moment. Cabresco works to advance to full mount. Duran defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Cabresco is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Cabresco extends the arm and Duran is forced to tap!
