Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jaxson DuBrul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Fredericks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joe Fredericks was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaxson DuBrul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Fredericks! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fredericks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from DuBrul is defended easily by Fredericks. Joe Fredericks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DuBrul shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fredericks manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fredericks looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fredericks is adopting a defensive guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fredericks keeping moving, preventing DuBrul from controlling successfully. DuBrul throws a big right hand that misses. DuBrul has gone for a leg lock! Fredericks slips out almost immediately though and dives into DuBrul's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. DuBrul wants to stand but Fredericks is controlling the position. DuBrul not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fredericks wants to stand but DuBrul is controlling his posture from full guard. DuBrul working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fredericks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fredericks manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fredericks prevents DuBrul from getting back to his feet. DuBrul controls Fredericks momentarily but Fredericks frees himself. Fredericks wants to stand but DuBrul has a closed guard, so he can't escape. DuBrul looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A slapping leg kick lands for Fredericks.

DuBrul is breathing heavily. Fredericks lands with a thumping leg kick.
Fredericks fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fredericks scores with a kick to the body.

Fredericks misses with a wild body shot. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fredericks.
Fredericks thumps DuBrul with a low kick. DuBrul on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fredericks. Fredericks obviously looking to wear him down.
Fredericks bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Fredericks stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. DuBrul blocks the body kick.
Fredericks turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. DuBrul slips a jab and a cross from Fredericks.

That's four minutes gone in the round. DuBrul on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fredericks. Fredericks obviously looking to wear him down.
DuBrul stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fredericks. DuBrul takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Joe Fredericks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fredericks moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fredericks throws a right and a left that both miss. Fredericks dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on DuBrul. That did some damage! Fredericks throws a good cross that connects.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from DuBrul is defended easily by Fredericks. A nice inside leg kick there by Fredericks. That's going to slow DuBrul down. A chopping leg kick lands by Fredericks. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fredericks dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Fredericks lands a big head kick that sends DuBrul tumbling to the mat! Fredericks takes a step backwards and waves DuBrul back to his feet - he wants the finish!
DuBrul is rocked! A head kick misses from Fredericks. Oh DuBrul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fredericks looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Fredericks dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fredericks throws a nice inside leg kick. DuBrul seems to have got his legs back now. Fredericks has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fredericks attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. DuBrul forces Fredericks back against the cage and clinches. Fredericks will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning DuBrul up against the cage. DuBrul misses with a body punch.
Fredericks tries to land knees in the clinch but DuBrul avoids the damage to the body. Fredericks manages to break the clinch.
Fredericks leaves DuBrul with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. DuBrul shoots in for a takedown but Fredericks shows good takedown defense. Jaxson DuBrul is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fredericks pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. DuBrul shoots in looking for a takedown. Fredericks tries to sprawl out of it but DuBrul keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fredericks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaxson DuBrul. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fredericks feints a jab and as DuBrul dips his head, Fredericks unleashes a brutal head kick that catches DuBrul right on the jaw! Timbeeer! DuBrul falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Fredericks smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Joe Fredericks!
