Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vicky Vegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Huthe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huthe has chosen Five Finger Death Punch - Bad Company as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A slow jab from Huthe misses its intended target.
Huthe throws out a powerful jab.
A combination from Vegas does no damage.
Huthe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vegas moves away.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vegas, right into the meat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Huthe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Vicky Vegas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Huthe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
