Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DJ Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaffa Cake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Geto Boys - Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta. Cake has chosen Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, DJ Benn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaffa Cake! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cake closes the distance and clinches. A frustrated look appears on Cake's face as he tries to break the clinch. Benn looking for a takedown. Benn tries to break the clinch but Cake is controlling the position. Benn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cake scores with a jab to the body. Benn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cake.
Cake is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cake jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like DJ Benn has been cut. Cake takes the fight into the clinch. Cake is trying to break the clinch but Benn is controlling him. Benn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Benn tries to close the distance and clinch but Cake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cake lands with a nice combination. Benn backs away looking to recover. Cake throws out a loose jab but Benn uses good head movement to avoid it. Cake is trying hard to land a takedown here. Benn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Cake looks to throw the jab but Benn is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cake misses with a wild combination.
Cake displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Benn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Benn looking to pass the guard. Cake avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cake kicks Benn off and gets to his feet. A big left from Cake misses. A nice combination there by Cake.
Benn slips under a jab. Cake tries to bum rush Benn with a series of wild strikes but Benn uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cake swinging wilding here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cake pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Cake throws a big shot that misses. Cake swinging wilding here.
Cake displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Benn scores a takedown into full mount! Benn with the ground and pound from mount. Benn throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cake because Benn loaded up on that one. Benn is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cake has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Benn swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cake is now in Benn's guard. A big mistake from Benn there, giving up the dominant position! Benn is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cake not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Benn wants to stand up but Cake is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Benn is working an open guard so Cake takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Cake with a poor takedown and Benn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Cake is pulling down on Benn's head. It's preventing any offense from Benn, at least for the moment. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cake keeping full guard, as Benn tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cake looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Benn wants to pass the guard but Cake is keeping the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Benn working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Benn tries to free his leg and advance position but Cake is retaining full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cake holds on and takes a little breather. Benn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Benn is looking to work some ground and pound but Cake has wrist control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cake is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cake wants to get back to his feet but Benn is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Benn tries to free his leg and advance position but Cake is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaffa Cake dominated that round. The cut man is working on DJ Benn's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Benn manages to break the clinch.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Benn. Benn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Benn lands in his opponent's guard. Benn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Benn postures up in Cake's guard and throws a big left but Cake blocks it. Benn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Benn wants to pass the guard but Cake is keeping the position. Cake has control of Benn's left arm, preventing Benn from doing any damage. Cake lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Benn! Benn is trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cake looking to control and managing it successfully. Benn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cake can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Benn is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cake looking to control and managing it successfully.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jaffa Cake just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice shot by Cake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cake throws a right and a left that Benn avoids nicely. Benn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Benn feints and as Cake raises his hands in defense, Benn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Benn is pushing down on Cake's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cake is fighting to maintain full guard but Benn has managed to sneak the leg through. Benn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cake's head. Benn tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cake knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Benn stops Cake from getting back to his feet.
Benn is thwarting Cake's attempts to control the position. Cake is trying to get back to full guard. Cake is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Benn works his way into full mount! Benn looking to ground and pound but Cake is blocking nicely. Cake tries to lock up and control but Benn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Benn throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Benn throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Benn unloads with some shots from mount but Cake bucks and avoids them well.
Cake is working to get back to half guard.
Benn punching from mount but Cake doing a good job of avoiding damage. Cake wants to try and get back to his feet. Cake flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Benn cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cake can do anything to dispel that myth. Cake working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DJ Benn dominated that second round. The cut man is working on DJ Benn's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Cake throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Benn counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Cake is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Benn is aware though and is defending well. Benn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cake is keeping the position for now. Bennis looking to pass into half guard but Cake pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Cake is in guard. Cake is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Benn wants to stand but Cake is controlling the position. Cake decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Benn, up you get! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cake misses with a few strikes there.
Benn takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cake misses with an uppercut. Benn saw that one coming. Cake misses with an uppercut. Cake looks to clinch and Benn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cake won't be happy with that. Benn creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Benn advances to full mount. Cake is desperately trying to improve his position but Benn has a good base and remains in mount. Benn looking to ground and pound but Cake is blocking nicely. Cake is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Benn with the ground and pound from mount. BOOM! Benn connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Benn moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Cake has worked his arm free - good work by Cake!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cake can't do much from the bottom here. Cake is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Benn asserts his dominance and retains side control. Cake parries the strikes from Benn easily there. Benn is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Cake to escape.
Cake throws Benn to one side and escapes! Benn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cake throws a combination that misses and Benn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Cake won't be happy with that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Benn creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cake sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Cake takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cake is trying to get back to half guard. Benn lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Benn working away. Cake taking a bit of punishment here - Benn scoring with strikes. Benn tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cake swats away the attempt to clinch by Benn. DJ Benn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cake throws the left hand but Benn avoids the punch easily. Cake wants to clinch. Cake throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cake stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cake wants it to stay on the feet. Benn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cake throws a head kick but Benn moves out of range.
Cake throws a hook but Benn avoids it easily. Some wild striking there from Cake.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cake misses the jab. Cake swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Benn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cake's guard now.
And that's the end of the fight! DJ Benn showed his dominance in that final round. I think Benn has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
