Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johny Brawo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeidren Cheeseburger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeidren Cheeseburger!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Brawo looking to sit in guard and control but Cheeseburger gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Cheeseburger sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Cheeseburger's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Brawo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cheeseburger is aware though and is defending well.
Cheeseburger controls from within his opponent's guard.
Cheeseburger stops Brawo from standing up.
Cheeseburger stays in close to Brawo's body and controls the position.

Cheeseburger trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Brawo manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brawo is looking to work some ground and pound but Cheeseburger has wrist control.
Cheeseburger pushes Brawo off and gets back to his feet.
Brawo shoots for a takedown but Cheeseburger saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brawo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cheeseburger sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brawo somewhat.
Brawo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Brawo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cheeseburger scores with a takedown into Brawo's guard.
Cheeseburger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Despite being in the dominant position, Jeidren Cheeseburger just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brawo is looking to clinch but Cheeseburger is avoiding it.
Cheeseburger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Brawo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Brawo is trying to control Cheeseburger's posture but Cheeseburger avoids it.

A lull in the action here.
I looks like Cheeseburger might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

and Cheeseburger counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Brawo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brawo tries to clinch but fails miserably
so Cheeseburger counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brawo is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brawo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Brawo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cheeseburger swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brawo postures up in Cheeseburger's guard and throws a big left but Cheeseburger blocks it.

Brawo is looking to stand up but Cheeseburger won't let him.
Cheeseburger has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Brawo off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Brawo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cheeseburger drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Cheeseburger taking a breather here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brawo pushes Cheeseburger away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cheeseburger gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Cheeseburger content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Let's hope that Cheeseburger has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Cheeseburger is pressing down on Brawo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brawo is holding on for now.
Cheeseburger is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brawo is just riding it out for now. Cheeseburger eventually gives up the hold.
Cheeseburger is breathing heavily.
Cheeseburger wants to pass the guard but Brawo is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeidren Cheeseburger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Cheeseburger counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Brawo!
Cheeseburger tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Cheeseburger controlling his opponent.

Brawo is trying to stand.
Cheeseburger wants to take Brawo's back but he can't do it this time.
Cheeseburger working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Brawo looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Cheeseburger! Submission of the night perhaps?
