Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bret Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacobus Boerboom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hill kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Wanted Dead Or Alive by Bon Jovi. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boerboom ducks under a wild hook from Hill.
Boerboom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hill scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Boerboom shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Boerboom showed some decent athleticism there.

Boerboom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hill swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boerboom takes a body punch but keeps moving.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hill darts in and clinches Boerboom up against the cage.
Hill manages to break the clinch.
Boerboom gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hill.
Hill throws an overhand right that lands on Boerboom's shoulder, as Boerboom tries to avoid the shot.
Hill tests Boerboom's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Hill fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Boerboom to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Boerboom looks to clinch but Hill throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Boerboom taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
